Re: Industrial Product Design

Look up Lemec. I believe he does a great deal of this type of work.

Re: détacher la timeline

Well something might be lost in the Translator. I understand that your Timeline Panel is still attached to the Project Panel and you want to release it so you can move it around and to do that you double click on the very top of the Timeline Panel.

Re: détacher la timeline

You double click on the top bar of the timeline panel and then zoom in or out with the tiny icon at the right of the tab "NEW" at the top of timeline header.

Re: grey area on top of main panel

But you explained the purpose of the band. I use it to write notes for my composer or to see beats of my music marked with scribbles, or notes for VO actors where to accentuation certain expressions.

Re: grey area on top of main panel

That's the timeline notes showing. You can turn it off by unchecking it at the bottom of the Display menu which is situated at the very bottom right of what we call the Project Panel.

Re: Locking the timeline

I don't believe there are too many instances when you could mechanize the match so without knowing what exactly you are planning to change it is difficult to make a suggestion. The way I would go about something like this is to first make a temp track of all three layers merged. The temp track would...

There's a one click tool to separate and another one to join in the Handy Custom Panel under the tab Current Layer.

Re: Cacani 2d software with automatic inbetweening done right

But by generally established standards it is considered unethical to discuss the workings of other software on the forum of the current software. I understand that references are fair information, but to carry over another software's merits and demerits on this forum just because they have no forum ...

Re: Gray areas of paper drawings are showing

Try Color Replacer in the FX stack. It's a very simple and instinctive gadget under "color" in the search menu.

Re: Key Framer and manual positioning of drawings

I find the simplest way to go about this is laying down only the number 1. walk and then manually matching each opening frame to the ground's layer moving gradually into full speed and slowing down at the end by again nudging the few off frames to match the ground. This really is easier and takes le...

Re: Cacani 2d software with automatic inbetweening done right

I still prefer to hand-draw my characters, but for things like fire, smoke, explosions, glimmer effects, plants and props it's sooo good not having to tween that stuff anymore. But why even those elements? I prefer 2D films where the animator brings imagination and a personal touch to animate even ...

Re: Cacani 2d software with automatic inbetweening done right

I am not saying that. I am trying to make a point that it makes little sense to animate 2D films in a hand drawn app so that they look as close to 3D animation as current technology will permit. There is beauty in the imperfectly drawn animation that will always be missing in computer generated line...

Re: Cacani 2d software with automatic inbetweening done right

There is beauty in imperfections. The only emotion associated with mechanical perfection is, "Wow! It works!" How is that going to make a story engaging?
