Re: Deleted soundtrack but sound keeps playing

Interesting one. Have you checked in Project view if the sound is still present there? What happens if you close and open the project again?

Re: Missing auto break instance with PSD file in TVPaint

Well, your last sentence makes no sense since that exactly defines the image layer ... *g* (oh, and it's called background layer now? That makes sense in terms of ease of understanding.) Also I guess it's quite some work to code a conversion of old projects so that image layers are opened as animlay...

Re: Missing auto break instance with PSD file in TVPaint

No, because they're needed. Example: I want to create a reference of where an object moves, so I use an image layer where I can draw at any frame without breaking.

sand brush

Actually, this is not sand, but while using this in a curent job I noticed its similarity to sand animation, so have fun with it. sand.tvpx The trick is to work in color and erase mode alternatively, to get the impression of piling up and removing sand. I needed to use pressure for size, but if you ...

Re: how to use len fare in FX menu :/

It definitely looks greta, but if I may nitpick a bit: all lens flares from the same light source have to be on one straight line, because they're all caused from the same lens. You only have scattered flares if you also have multiple light sources.

Re: Alpha channel interpretation issue

Alpha can be tricky. I found the only way to be sure is stubbornly test each possible combination in the workflow, take notes, and then adamantly stick to the one which works.

Re: Crop tool bin

With coordinates I mean the placement of the crop rectangle within the project. Without remembering this the dimensions only would be pretty useless, IMO.

Crop tool bin

I'm working with a 4K project right now and need to reduce CPU load, so I crop out the small parts I actually need to animate, to paste them in later. It would be nice to have a Bin in the crop tool panel so I can store different locations and dimensions and even name them.

Insert empty frames

I've searched the forum to no avail, I was quite sure that somebody had mentioned this before. I vaguely remember Paul writing about his workflow, that he placed keys in time, then with some trickery broke long exposures in half, and again and again. What I need: I select a range of frames, and I wa...

Re: exporting a drawing

The crucial point seems to be "larger than HD". You didn't tell the purpose of it, but I suggest to use the native recording option of Mac OS. It's pretty fast on a big machine and only limited by disk space. I recommend to stop recording and properly save the file every few minutes.

Re: Alpha export issue

AFX had (last time I checked) the options Guess, Pre-Multiply, Without Pre-Multiply.

Re: Alpha export issue

I've just done a test.
TIFF: no difference between pre and nonpremultiplied, both with grey border.
PNG: "Not Premultiplied" gives you the desired effect, without a grey border.

So the file format matters!
