OK. I seriously recommend you work through the tutorials to get all the basic concepts.
Layer tab: in the timeline, the part left to a layer with the name and settings. Lots of buttons there, one is "save alpha". See manual.

If the black part is on transparent: just ckeck "save alpha" in layer tab, then draw or use rectangle tool. If black is on white use Scan Cleaner first.

Try again and set the alpha setting in the import window to guess or anything, but not no alpha.

Very nice! I like the overall roughness (which also speeds up work). Of course I could quibble about some cuts and choices, but what the hell, deadline and finished! What's the source of video material? Did you use other software for this in preparation of those videos (colour corretion/tweaking)? A...

What you're looking for then is a Wacom pen computer, running Windows 10.

Just switch off "Hold" in the first frame (the little pulldown right from the frame).

Looks strange ... I feel the staging is off, it might work in life action but in animation I would've chosen different shots. Also speed and perspective of backgrounds sometimes work, sometimes not.

I've noticed this behaviour a few times in TVP and Photoshop on this old Mac of mine, and I believe it's a matter of faulty video buffer. Since it's only there for the glimpse of a second I don't care.

Hm, I have a very far-fetched guess: is your original brush profile from v10? And did you notice this behaviour in v11.0?

Hm hm ... seems like some GIF setting is borked. Do something which changes the images (like adding a pixel in each), then save under a different name and try to modify that new project?

Have you tired to modify the FPS setting?

Oh, that's interesting, I've got a nearly identical configuration, but still on Ventura. I should test a bit.

Could you be more exact about when it crashes? Someone else mentioned working in 4K.

Often repeated warning: avoid anything outside 7bit ASCII in file and path names. So it's A-Za-z0-9_ only.

I just duplicate the color layer so I can keep the original version. Clients change their mind faster sometimes than I can hit cmd-Z.
