Re: Annie Awards 45th

Aarch!
Pardon me, I confused the Annie's with the Emile's, The European Animation Awards. For which a few big TVP-animated project are also nominated.

Some advice from the old ones:
Only do Rotoscoping if you get paid really, really, REALLY well.
Why?
Because it's very difficult or very dreary work...?

Re: RAM usage while exporting

PNG export can take very long depending on the compression settings, I've noticed. Especially if the export consists of full color images.

Re: Missing auto break instance with PSD file in TVPaint

Well, your last sentence makes no sense since that exactly defines the image layer ... *g* .... No, because of this important and (apparently) confusing difference: ...Image layer are like the ancestors of anim layer and when anim layers have been created, you could turn an image layer into an anim...

Re: Missing auto break instance with PSD file in TVPaint

I see what you mean, but you can do that now if you turn off "auto break instance" and "auto create frame" for that specific layer.
Or perhap adding an extra option to the New Layer pull down menu called Reference Layer where both options are turned off by default?

Re: TVPaint animator for Short Animated Film

Thanks for your offer, Mats We seem to have solved this issue for now but it might be a good idea to have the names of Swedish professionals for when/if crunch time arrives. It's a Swedish-Dutch co-production so, from what I understand, there is a very high preference for animators from either Swede...

Re: Missing auto break instance with PSD file in TVPaint

If it causes confusion like this, shouldn't we just get rid of those image layers then?

TVPaint animator for Short Animated Film

Dear TVP friends, The animated short film I am working on at the moment is in a little bit of a pickle. We have lost an animator and are looking hard for a replacement who is up to the task. It's a short film from Swedish artist/filmmaker Jöns Mellgren called ' Elsa and the Night '. Jöns is also dir...

Re: Erase only WHITE lines?

Sewie, Seriously? I ALWAYS test out suggestions I make or buttons/scripts I create. Only then do I post, after I know they work on MY system. ... Sorry to have insulted you, Sven. I've downloaded your brush and it works perfectly. I think my mistake was with the spaces between the digits, as you me...
