Thanks @Soom! When you've used this software for a very long time, some of the changes feel like improvements, and some feel like someone's rearranged my furniture without telling me I'll adjust sooner or later, I suppose.

@Soom was this ever addressed? I came here because I was curious if there was a way to turn it off...when I split clips and export I end up with some crazy long names I wasn't looking for!

I do not need to re-type my password but I don't know if that means partial or full hibernation, but that being said, no other programs close, everything else will still be on my screen, sometimes even TVPaint Converter! The only program that is gone when I wake up my computer is TVPaint.

One more thing, if I walk away without saving and am gone longer than expected so my computer goes to sleep (phone call, studio visitor etc.), TVPaint will shut down and I will definitely lose that work. I know the solution is to save constantly, but would love any solution for this. Thank you!

My projects are saving properly, they're just not automatically opening upon start up.

No. TVPaint will just shut down and no longer be open, and even if I save my project before my computer sleeps, when I restart TVP it will open up with a different file (the last project saved upon proper shut down but not the most current file) (I have chosen the option to startup TVP with my last ...

Thank you for your reply but I am running 11.7.1 on Windows 11 and TVPaint crashes every time my computer goes to sleep. If you have not received any tickets about this, where can I report this? Thank you!

Just checking in on this, April of 2023. Any news regarding whether this program can safely go to sleep? I don't always know I am walking away from my computer for long enough that it will go to sleep, but I know that if it has when I return TVP will have shut down. :( I am using TVP 11.7.1. Thanks ...

Hello, please try opening the Preferences panel of your TVPaint and, in the General tab, changing the drawing mode from "Wintab" to "Ink" or the other way around. This issue has appeared overnight for some Win11 users and we don't really know where where it could come from. This...
