TVPaint for Illustration

I’ve been enjoying various monthly art challenges (e.g., Inktober, etc.) Daily prompts are provided for inspiration. For the art challenges that permit multimedia, I use TVPaint.

Here are some of my digital illustrations for the November and December challenges in which I participated.

Camera View Vertical

Hi all, I searched before I posted, but I found nothing that addressed this specific, but hopefully trivial issue. I have never used TVPaint camera, so I'm a camera noob. I have an animated short set up for HD 1080p with a 150.00% ratio I use Win 10 Pro and have TVPaint Pro (latest edition). When I ...

Re: Sountrack Export Issue

Hi, which version and which os please ? My apologies. The latest version of Pro (11.5.3) and Win 10 Pro. I fixed the problem. I read in another thread about how the sound won't continue where there are no drawings, so I duplicated the soundtrack three times and aligned it with the looping animation...

Sountrack Export Issue

I have a looped animation. There is a soundtrack (words spoken, not music). A couple of days ago I exported the looped animation with the soundtrack and aside from an error with the aspect ration, the animation played and looped fine. Somewhere along the way from correcting the aspect ratio to expor...

Re: Scene mirrored and flipped.

I just happened to draw something, then turn away for a second and when I looked back at my animation, all the frames were upside down. From life experiences I should've learned that the simplest things are usually the problem, but I didn't. So instead I flipped all my layers and images vertically, ...

Re: No matter what settings I try, my exported vid runs too fast

in the Export Panel, disable "Stretch to Frame Rate" option, if it's ON, the original speed will be kept.
That did it for me. (I was having the same issue.)

Thank you.

Re: TVPaint Contest Proposal

for now I am really busy with the editing of new videos (interviews we did in Japan... :) I'm happy to hear of interviews. I was just looking at the TVPaint Youtube channel and thought how there's been nothing added for a year. I always learned something from the tutorials, and I enjoyed the interv...

Re: Why 11.0.9?

I've received the same email. It states that I can get a 25% upgrade on TVP 11.0.9 from either TVPaint 9 or 10. I thought I'd jump on it (TVPaint doesn't usually offer discounts): A second good new, for those who still used the previous versions of TVPaint 11 : We would be pleased to offer you a 25 ...

Re: TVPaint on 68k Amiga - With Pressure Sensitivity

As they say, "A day late and a dollar short." The tech gentleman that builds my computers just told me last month that he sold all of his old Amigas on Ebay. He had quite a collection but decided to part with them because they brought a good price and he's still alive to enjoy the proceeds...

Re: Adobe tells users that they can get sued for using older versions of Photoshop

This is ridiculous. This is why that subscription based licenses are abysmal business practices. Agree. Subscriptions add up, and they make me feel tense, like I'm being taken hostage. Despite the threats, I will continue to use my AI CS6. I keep removing that Creative Cloud off my system so it doe...
