Re: Adobe tells users that they can get sued for using older versions of Photoshop

Amen, I've almost completely been able to leave Adobe behind now. The only time I need it is with AE when I'm doing complex layers in 3D space shots, and that's very rare.

Re: Bug: Unable to Modify "Magic Blue Eraser" Tool from Sketch Panel

I think TVPaint uses an RGB code from memory, the colour panel can tell you the number. I'll check later today.

Re: How do you do shutter focus/blur effects in TVpaint?

Just a gaussian bur will effect the whole layer unless you've got a selection active?

Who's going this year?

I guess there'll be a TVPaint stand?

Re: Brush-Color variation

I guess you could make an animation brush where each frame is a different shade, then set the animation in the brush to be controlled by the angle of tilt?

Re: Ping Pong function not working

The other option is to use the in layer "repeat Images" function rather than the tag at the end of the layer. I find this is really useful for keeping a project tidy too...

Just drag and drop it into TVP and follow the instructions.

Re: Pointer changing to arrow

I get this. It happens every time there's a notification somewhere in OSX I have to set the computer to 'do not disturb' in the notifications centre to stop it happening.

Re: Painterly look in TV Paint

I think you could use the brush spreading effect. It works well on solid blocks of colour, and you can get it to only update on heads so it won't boil constantly.

So many people to say goodbye to and so many to say hello to! Good luck everyone with the new adventures and roles. I'm looking forward to seeing TVPaint continue to flourish, and to see what Elodie and co get up next :)

Absolutely.

I'm sure I owe TVPaint a million drinks in gratitude for various moments of production, so it's a good job no-one (plus their livers) are there :D
