Re: Where, License File?

ignore it. That's for some other function I can't even remember but I think it might have something to do with the way some large studios operate.

Re: Cannot unlock TVPaint

Have you tried making another download without uninstalling anything; just go online and open TVPaint download using your codes. Then when the registration panel comes up again there's a chance that this time nothing will be ghosted.

Re: last used tool setting

Have you tried the Swap tool shortcut? This will do precisely what you want. But as a precaution it serves my purpose to have custom presets anyway. To economize on space, I line up my drawing and erasure tools all around the parameter of my project panel. But I suggest you forget all that stuff for...

Re: last used tool setting

Is anyone using the key command Tools: Swap Stylus Tips ? I too switch between draw and erase almost as often as I inhale and exhale and for that reason have created my pen and eraser as custom buttons just the way furushil describes. But also I can switch between these two buttons using my pen's bo...

Re: Backup, backup, backup.

I have backups in Carbonite's cloud, a very good and even great, support oriented, company, I have TVPaint send a cycle of 20 of my increment backups of every save to another drive on the same computer but which I don't let Carbonite backup, and finally I have my entire project folder with hundreds ...

Re: How do you delete an instance?

I want it GONE, as in I don’t even want to see the residual white cel that just sits there I think this is exactly what is frustrating the man. There is nothing in the Animator Panel that lets him do what I picked from his quote. I had the same strong feelings about the subject back in the 9.5 days...

Re: TVPaint's "AVI (Internal)" setting

I had the same experience with with the Sony YUV Codec and there's a Sony 10-bit YUV Codec too which I never tested because in spite of the pleasant results I was worried to adopt YUV only because so few people use it and it might lead me into some unforeseen complications down the line because the ...

Re: TVPaint's "AVI (Internal)" setting

It makes a difference in color quality. Some rendering codecs prefer YUV, otherwise I don't think there's too much of a difference as far as we should be concerned. I've tried both and don't see a difference.

Re: Image Scaling Help Needed

I have learned over time to make this standard practice with all my projects, whether I foresee future needs for this or not. Every project of mine starts at the standard 1080p plus 120% over sizing for camera purposes.

Re: layer attenuation not project dependent

+1!!! It never made sense to me why Att always has to start from zero. Maybe it's not as easy as some of us would like to think, but then my tools can remember the last settings I leave them with.... the Lightable remembers... I would like my grid settings in the Guidelines to remember their last se...

Re: Burning Big Fat Cat (wip)

This looks and sounds very promising; I presume you created the entire soundtrack because the two, the imagery and the sounds make for such a perfect match -- just wonderful. Of course, I like the last scene best because of the well executed animation... it isn't rotoscoped, I am pretty sure of that...

Re: TV Paint Crashing When Exporting PNG Sequences

Thanks, Elodie. But there doesn't seem to be any discernible difference in quality between 80- and 100%. Maybe I should start a new thread on this.
