Re: A project lost part of the information after closing

 I have one 250 GB SSD just for temp files One 950 GB drive for remnants of old files I'm too wimpy to discard one 1.80 TB drive for my C drive which has only about 25% of its space used but is ready to handle over runs from WIP, so far not needed. a 2.70 TB external mirror drive and a 4.0T...

Re: A project lost part of the information after closing

I just realized that maybe few are aware of the new and fabulous option in TVP-11 under Preferences>Save>Multi-Backup Directory>menu: 1.Project's Save Directory, 2.Custom. Selecting "Custom" opens a browser through which any HD on the local computer or a dedicated external computer or HD can now sto...

Re: TVP compared to Retas

This sounds like people in the West who can't stop using the other side of the stylus to erase with. :) I often wonder if they still chew on that end.

Re: sketch panel eraser size?

I don't want the softness of the airbrush eraser when I erase from the sketch panel. Just for completeness in answers; Using the Profile graph, you can turn the airbrush into an entirely flat eraser -- or any other drawing or painting tool for that matter. Or giving the profile a straight line inst...

Re: A project lost part of the information after closing

In that case there is only one more idea I can come up with; you might have inadvertently done something within the history panel. If you never use it then I can't see how that would happen, but if you always keep it open, and not just that, but use it often, I can see how that might happen.

Re: TVPaint 11 fixes and improvements I would like to see

This is a wonderful asset for me since between the two of us and our internal network we have multiple versions of the same project on multi hard drives. At times I would become confused about which version I had been using and start making changes to the wrong one. We always need to be able to trac...

Re: A project lost part of the information after closing

Do you have a multi backup set in preferences? If you do (as everyone should IMO) you perhaps opened by mistake one of the older saves.

Re: exporting images

Well, these are issues that go far over my rank. I think you need to bring them up with Development... Fabrice has already asked you for a screen shot; I'd start there if I were you.

Re: exporting images

Hank, I'm convinced that 10.5.3 cannot be the latest update because, firstly I remember this particular version being extremely buggy and had been quickly upgraded. I don't have 10 anymore but I vaguely remember it was something like ---------EDIT: the correct number is 10.5.7 When you go to update,...

Re: exporting images

This is an issue that was resolved a long time ago. Are you really still on 10.5.3? There have been several substantial updates since then. You should update.

Re: exporting images

How are your layers stacked? Are they all of the same length, or if each one is just a single frame, are they directly above each other? What are there head and tail extensions; are those all unified?

Re: Linked Instances

AUTO button is in the small collection of Mads' plugin. The button has the word AUTO prominently showing to the right of the green T. It's unique because it efficiently gives selected batches of frames their unique names using the addition of the " * ".

Re: Linked Instances

I also just noticed that something has changed in TVP that makes my initial information about how to program one's key command incorrect; all that is now necessary is to give it the command: TRACKER SHORTCUTS: Tracker: Next instance.
