Excellent. I will have to wait until next week to try it. Thank you! I have to admit , the thing baffles me ! I really don't understand the logic of it. I started looking at it again when I saw your post and I remembered that I also have times where it might be useful to print out an "X-sheet" vers...

Re: Making sheet for people working in another software

Thanks so much, D.T. Are these excel files? Do you fill them in by hand? Or is this a way to export an sheet directly from a scene? This is not an Excel file, it's a generated file in TVPaint , which can be exported as an Image file for printing or printed directly from File Menu > Print. It's not ...

Re: Making sheet for people working in another software

I realize this tool was developed specifically for Japanese workflow , but how easy would it be to modify the timesheet (exposure sheet) script to make it replicate the arrangement of a "Western" style x-sheet ? Could we have a version that has: 1.) Continuous frame count running down the left side ...

Ah great, thank you Peter!
Thank you, indeed for the concise explanation .

(I love when that happens: in writing out the question and posting it to the forum, something clicks and you find the answer !)

Re: Color Adjust bug ?

Hi David and happy new year, There can be multiple reasons why Photoshop values differs from TVpaint values. TVPaint uses 8 bits conversions, maybe Photoshop uses floating point conversions in his algorithms even if you're working in 8 bits. But I don't think this would lead to this kind of gap bet...

Re: Making sheet for people working in another software

As I understand it you're exporting all the drawings as an image sequence , then your collaborators will load the image sequence into their software and they need a guide (exposure sheet) of how to expose the drawings properly in their software , right ? EDIT: never mind . I tried that CSV export op...

Re: Multi-core usage

While it's never wrong to go for as much RAM as possible, my 10 yr old Macs with 8 GB RAM are quite good at producing HDTV animation in TVP. Yes, I've got 16GB of RAM and haven't noticed any poor performance working at 1080p or 2K film resolution in TVPaint , so I was a bit surprised to read ematec...

Re: Multi-core usage

The priorities are : memory (at least 32GB when working in TVHD res), That recommendation for at least 32GB of memory when working at HDTV resolution is surprising to me. I think maybe it is time to update the "minimum system requirements" on the FAQ to note that if someone plans to work in HDTV re...

Re: Color Adjust bug ?

First guess: check if PS is set to sRGB which is the colour space TVP is working in. I checked my own Photoshop Color Settings and my color space is set to sRGB IEC611966-2.1 . However, changing the color in TVPaint using Color Adjust results in a color that is almost , but not quite the same RGB v...

Color Adjust bug ?

Possible bug in the FX Stack > Color Adjust . I am working on a project with an Art Director who works in Photoshop. If a color change must be made he tells me the steps he took in Photoshop to change the color using PS's Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation and gives me the resulting RGB values of ...

Re: Toon Boom Harmony 15 released

Well, honestly, my first thought is : "Does VGmaster9 go on the Toonboom forum and post about when TVPaint releases a new version and ask what are people's thoughts about it ? How does that fly over there ? " Well what might interest TVP users is that the program now has a tool that can emulate bit...
