Re: zoom and large image sizes.

This is a technique for those moments where you don't want any 3D effect, like the common situation of a fast pull-out, without the disadvantage of working in a too large project. Example: http://www.slowtiger.de/examples/fon_oben.mov The background consists of two images here, both in 1920 x 1080. ...

Re: Randomized boil on hold with multiple colour layers

How different are the line drawings from each other? Is the line thick enough to cover colour area borders? But the most important question: why has that boiling to be randomly? (8 drawings are a bit few to really give a random effect. If you have drawings 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8, you can't continue with 8,...

In fact zoomquilt inspired me to do that.

Re: zoom and large image sizes.

Coincidentially I did just that, last month. Easiest way is to start with the zoomed-out position, then enlarge the center and draw what's visible when you zoom in. Switch on the Field Guide. Create a rectangle at the 6F position, this shows the portion of the frame which will fill the screen in the...

Re: WIP. animated short for cable TV. excerpt.

No outlines is OK, but why are the characters so washed out? If they were as saturated or dark as the car and the trees they wouldn't look like ghosts. Also I agree with Paul about the walk and the "wrong" holds. If it should indicate a pause for weight shifting, I'd do that as a moving ho...

Die Antwort findest du zB in http://www.tvpaint.com/forum/viewtopic. ... tor#p37628

If it's a contest the movie theatre should provide you with some technical specs to meet, especially resolution and framerate.

Re: Layer settings for output

Mask settings?? Please not. As long as masks from different layers don't add up in any useful way, I don't see sense in saving mask settings - after all it's always only one stencil active.

Re: Light table options?

Nope, doesn't work. That's why it's best to keep outline and colour separated as long as possible. I had that problem myself, two solutions: - trace the line roughly on a new layer (useful if I only want to add one or two frames) - duplicate the coloured layer and use the scan cleaner. Doesn't give ...

Re: timeline display options

See the little "Z"? Click and drag it. This expands and compresses the timeline. Under a certain compression it can't display individual frames, that's all.

Re: Layer settings for output

I think this would perfectly go along with a "group" feature for layers.
