Ah, good ol' Mirage. That was my first iteration of TVPaint software, and once I used it, I was totally hooked. Back then you couldn't turn the screen/canvas!
It's come so far!

Re: lame lemec's drawings!
Sorry I've been away so long. I've been working nonstop on my game: stratO.
I've set my launch date on Steam for August 5th, 2015 and I still have a lot more to do.
Anyways, I've come up for air for a bit because I really miss drawing.

Re: Adobe: 2D animation tedious and certainly not expressive
I think I'm willing to let his statement slide because when it comes from him, it reflects more upon his shortcomings as an animator than the shortcomings of the medium. There's no point in consulting a broken clock for the time of day, and getting upset at a broken clock for giving incorrect time r...

Re: Adobe: 2D animation tedious and certainly not expressive
I'm gonna be real calm and collected about this. In context, Josh (the filmmaker giving the demo) probably cannot draw, or doesn't have vast experience as a traditional animator. For the purposes of the presentation, this is ideal. Think about it. Not many people CAN draw. It's a difficult skill to ...

Re: RockNRoll 1.66
... aaaaand I totally missed the original point of the conversation. All of my driver hacks and plugins are based off of existing code. Everything I do requires some existing framework or software library, and thank goodness I don't have to code it all from scratch or I'd have to learn a ton of anci...

Re: RockNRoll 1.66
Oh man sorry for dredging/necroposting in my own thread, but I feel it's really important to talk about this: Few things please me more than seeing GOOD ideas (and not just my own!) being implemented in software and hardware. Heck, if I had things my way, tablet makers would be including MIDI footpe...

Version 7.53
This one should "remember" if it was open when TVPaint is restarted.

Thanks Paul.
With animation if I focus too much on things I can see, I miss out on the things I can feel.
