Re: Dongle?
You keep the same one and everything is done over the net. You give them the lock code you'll find in the help/about panel of your Mirage; you give them the unlock code from your Mirage dongle, after which you will in short time get the new one and a link from where to download your TVPA. When openi...

Re: highlight x-sheet frames?
OK, I got it now. The confusion has been created by my GUI (Mirage/black) which doesn't show a clear dividing line between the two sides.
Thanks ... I can go from here.

Re: highlight x-sheet frames?
That button is on the right side and creates a new layer on the right side. This is why I thought from the beginning that the right side is the source side. Do you perhaps have a different version than I?- left side : [+src] button, have you hit it to create a new source column ?

Re: highlight x-sheet frames?
you are reading too fast ... :) Thanks. I've been practicing all my life and this mean I'm finally getting there. :) if that Animlayer is supposed to become your source, in the timeline tab, name it " Source " How? Where? I mean where? at the bottom where it says Default Source: None? How...

Re: highlight x-sheet frames?
No, I just don't get it, and I can't follow ZigOtto's sentences, though I greatly appreciate the effort. All I need to know is how I enter my timeline as a source line. I presume that one starts with a sequence of drawings which are either drawn directly into the project timeline or scanned in. How ...

Re: highlight x-sheet frames?
Well.... can you help me? How do I get started? All I'd like to know is how do you move the source into the edit--the rest I can probably figure out because it looks awfully like CTW Crater and that's because I always pointed to Crater as the best x-sheet software.

Re: highlight x-sheet frames?
Like a good boy I went to the manual. Looking through makes it obvious that this x-sheet does what I would expect from an x-sheet. But it fails to explain how to get started, which is maddening. Back to the project layers and work. I'll see if I can find a night course in my neighborhood that teache...

Re: highlight x-sheet frames?
OK, I've figured out that when I highlight in the project layer and switch to the x-sheet mode I can see the highlighting and cut, copy, or paste -- once. Then go back to project and highlight again for the next task. Is this how it's used? Tell me it ain't so! And how is this different from what yo...

highlight x-sheet frames?
How do you do that? I thought I'd fool around with the x-sheet to see if there is anything to it that might be helpful to me. All the buttons are pretty straightforward except for one thing: I can't figure out how to make selections. There used to be a huge outcry for an x-sheet everywhere. People w...

Re: Alternate TVP between 2 computers
Nah... I don't need to run both, but I have lots of RAM anyway. This used to be my Mirage main workhorse computer before I went to an even bigger one. I just want it set up and ready to draw with in case my big one went down, as it did just recently for about a week.

A week ago mine cost me $ 607. Our dollar is gaining strength -- maybe it's because Obama has the nomination in his pocket ( )

Re: Alternate TVP between 2 computers
I already have a Mirage installed on that second computer and this Mirage has its own dongle. Will that be in conflict with TVP? In other words, I will have two dongles on that machine; one with a Mirage unlock code and the other with a TVP code.

Re: Alternate TVP between 2 computers
Right, that's what I expected (that I would move the dongle from computer to computer). So do you think I can copy my entire TVP folder from one C drive to the other and install using the installation TVPaintAnimationPro_MIR_Installer.exe? and expect to have all my custom panels and plugins in place?

Alternate TVP between 2 computers
Can I alternate using TVPaint between two computers depending on which one has the dongle attached to it? If so, how should I go about installing TVP on the other computer?
