Re: Brush tool lagging
As explained previously, more pixels on the screen mean more pixels to manage by TVPaint. The lag is like a traffic jam of data ! I know I keep reading this, but I made my film in4k with no brush lag in an older version of TVP11 pro on the mac, with the updated version it has trouble with standard ...

Re: Cannot Separate Scenes in projects
IS the scene empty? I'm not sure from memory if you can split an empty scene, or maybe it was split a part of a scene that doesn't have a any frames at that point?

Re: [macOS] Update on TVPaint 11.0.9 lag issue
Ok, before anything could you please try to start blank, without the previous cache and settings ? Here we tested on two Macs before the beta release, the lag seemed to be fixed :( Hi, I tried via Thierry a version and I did that with a fresh user so no presets or anything and I still had lag. I se...

Re: [macOS] Update on TVPaint 11.0.9 lag issue
Ok, finished my film so I tried the latest version of TVPaint. The lag on the brush is terrible. I colour at my normal speed, and a few seconds later the line lazily weaves about the area.
The timeline lag seems to have gone though, but I'm going back to 11.0.8.

Re: [macOS] Update on TVPaint 11.0.9 lag issue
That's true, but I got terrible playback lag in 11.0.9 that made review of my animation impossible. I haven't tried the newer versions yet because I'm still mid-project. I will give them a go when everything is delivered. BTW, I'm saying this not as a critique of TVP or their people. I'm offering up...

Re: [macOS] Update on TVPaint 11.0.9 lag issue
I've been animating on @ 4K on my current project with no lag, BUT I'm using 11.0.8 still... So I guess the huge resolution problem appears and disappears between versions?

Re: DuiO 2
Here's what's different from the TVPaint 11 method... Since its 11th version, TVPaint comes with a tool to import clips in After Effects, but the importer in DuIO works a bit differently: the animation exposure can optionally be set directly on the frames instead of using time remapping, there is on...

looks like you can import TVPaint files directly into Aftereffect with this package. I haven't got time to try it at the moment, but... it'll be good if it's true.
