Re: Any Word on CB Paint 2 for Bogart SE
Hi Mike, Thanks for your prompt reply. Here is a copy of the answer I gave to Hans on the Cassi forum about how I transfer between Cassi and TVP ---------------------------------- Hi Hans-Joachim König, I now use TVPaint, and I must say it is very good. The forum is a mine of information an everyone...

Re: Any Word on CB Paint 2 for Bogart SE
Hi Mike, I too would like to be able to export/import directly between TVP and Bogart. I'm on 9.5Pro and so far have only been able to do it by using Vegas Video as a go between. The solution you offer with TVP 10 does not seem to be available in 9.5. All my efforts so far have failed, often ending ...

Re: Which laptop
Thanks all for your informative replies. At the moment I use a PC with an old 21" IIyma CRT monitor. Working elsewhere will be handy. So, to summarize; as powerful as possible with a screen as big as possible. But practicalities may mean something smaller. Most important is to make sure screen ...

Which laptop would you suggest for using with TVpaint, and which would you avoid? And why?

Re: Layer and keyframer question?
Hi Paul,
What I meant by basic was I do not have the Pro version, I'm on 9.5.16 standard version.
Cheers Alan.

Layer and keyframer question?
I have two layers in my project with two keyframers open. I want to work interactively with two brushes. The problem I have is that when I change a brush it also changes the brush on the inactive layer. Both layers always show the same brush. So it seems that I can have different keyframes on each l...

Re: Buy TVPaint
Hi Fabrice,
Thanks for you prompt reply, I suspected there might be a flaw in my 'good idea'. But if you don't ask you never know.

Buy TVPaint
It does not look as if any time soon MS are going to provide Cassi users with CBPaint for their new machines. So the answer is to buy TVPaint. What are the possibilities of of having a Linux version of TVPaint that would also run on the MS machines? As it is licensed to a dongle we would be able to ...

Re: TVPaint and HDV
Thanks folks for your assistance.
On import video clicking on 'All acceptable files' eliminates the m2t files and leaves only the .avi files. I'm underway again.

Re: TVPaint and HDV
It imports into Vegas and plays.
Only one frame imports into TVPaint via new and import footage, even though I choose a number of frames to import.

TVPaint and HDV
I'm ever hopeful that eventually I shall get my CBPaint with all the features of TVPaint. In the meantime I will continue to learn and experiment with my demo TVPaint, and it is very good. I'm using it in conjunction with Vegas9 Platinum. My question is, can I input an HD file? So far I have failed....
