Re: [WIP] Ruth ebook

Here are the last three pages of my WIP. It will come out as an e-book (epub3). As this are preview-pages in pdf you can click on some images to activate the film-clips, but it is necessary to open it with Adobe Acrobat Reader (which is free). After having reached her aunt's house, a lost destinatio...

Re: Squishy and the Fat man

To be honest, this sounds contradictory. On one side you're always so glad to watch users' animations and how important they are, but then you're saying that it is too much to spend time on. And it's true, there were not too much critics, but I see this as a process of unfortunate care of the Topics...

Re: Squishy and the Fat man

Sorry, you got me wrong. I wondered because of putting "films made with TVPaint" ( wips, made by members or non-members...) to Off-Topic -section in general. Sounds like animations/wips are now of minor matter. But puts light in the house. Always thought that one could learn from advise/cr...

Re: Squishy and the Fat man

I liked the small clip. Although a little overacting, but it worked for me because this is obvious fun stuff and I think it doesn't claim to be more - simple as that.

BTW, just noticed it - why is "Made with TVPaint" -> Off-Topic. Hm.

Re: Drawing body structure for animation: i Need Help!

If I may give an advice. Invest little money, just buy a pencil, one sharpener and get some sheet of papers from anywhere and start to draw. In almost any situation and everywhere - don't care for people looking at your drawings but watch them in everyday situations. This is not easy to do - you nee...

Flensaburger Kurzfiltage Trailer

Hi, just wanted to point to the new trailer of the Flensburger Kurzfilmtage 2013 made by students ( Nadine Zeeb, Frederic Hain, Simon Hagen ) in their 4th semester. Beside live-shooting TVP was used for some drawing parts and for editing. http://www.inf.fh-flensburg.de/hoefs/KFT/13FKT_2_480_270.mp4 ...

Re: image sequence--> layers

Thank you very much, I was in need because some students wanted to import their scanned hand-drawings into TVP for an animatic. It is more comfortable to have each image on a separate layer for time-adjusting. Raymond, your script-idea did it - I just added one more command to hide the parent-layer ...

image sequence--> layers

Is there a way to import a sequence (image001.png, image002.png ...) on different automatically generated layers for each image ?

(wasn't there a tool, once ? )

Re: [WIP] Ruth ebook

To have (at least) a rhythm track is a great help and usually I work this way.
But since I can do the soundtrack by myself, with playing instruments :oops: - it should be not too hard to get off tediousness.

Re: [WIP] Ruth ebook

corrected so far: http://www.khoefs.de/Test_InsideCakeSmall.mp4 Thank you both very much for the critics. Raymond you're right the aunt was approaching too fast, almost slipping. I also corrected the editing, and made a complete new animation of the young man. Thanks you very much Paul, for the tips...

Re: [WIP] Ruth ebook

Black and white drawings have a built-in abstraction, the viewer will add own colors in her or his mind. Eg such a b/w drawing of a garden will drag the viewer into the flowers, trees and ivy. On the other hand, many friends of mine like color compositions giving a scene a specific atmosphere, looks...
