Re: Rhyming a sentence in foreign languages

Simple translation: (German), with a bit of slang -

Geh' zu deinem Weib und sag:
Gemüse, jeden Tag !

@Markus:
Your suggestions are sounding to me like s.th. among Goethe and Eichendorff or that kind, right ? Sailor's language was a bit different ... and probably still is.

Re: Benecosse prints

Ben, one question: how many (if any) did you sell ? I had the experience that it is really hard to get art collectors to buy digital art if your name isn't Hockney. For most of them "aura" of an original traditional etching is very important. But that may have changed. Clever done post-mod...

Re: Ruth (Intro)

Hi Markus ! Thanks for watching the intro. Yes, true - it's a dummy placed on an extra layer in NLE, which will be replaced with different scans or I will drop them at all.
The mood is almost "Ostfriesland" ( or Fischerhude/Worpswede ). I think you are familiar with.

Re: Benecosse prints

Like it (no button here).

Placed between emotion and rationalism, I like the abstract expressionism gesture, the tachism influence as a counterpart of the well done solid compositions.

Re: Watercolor rotoscope of Blade Runner

I disagree. "jerky and uneven" - style isn't the problem of this one. Have a look at Jeff Scher (eg Summer Retreat: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9h7evaQyrs ) or go for William Kentridge. There is an attractive approach of independent animation (far aside of smooth Disney). I am not sur...

Re: Android Tablets

What's about the time lag while painting/drawing at e.g. 0:25 ? -------
Can anybody who tested it tell us how it feels while painting or drawing ?

Anything about the resolution ?

Re: Films made with TVP

If I had seen the film, I would perhaps comment - and others could do too.

But maybe the German Author Rights are not so bad as it looks at first glance.
Do you have the audio-rights or did you e.g. take someone's work without permission ?

Re: IFTS Stuttgart

Hmmm we leave on friday evening I arrived at FMX on Saturday and they told me everybody has left...sorry about it-couldn't make it on early Friday. But I think there will come another chance to meet. I always felt to be stressed out at festivals, but as a surprise, this time this feeling didn't ari...

Re: Morning Exercise

Yes, that's what I meant with "our culture". Trains are interesting, as they (usually) can't leave their rails, in other words they have no "free will". I think that's why some books became successful as Ottfried Preußler's "Jim Knopf" (engl.: "Jim Button and Luke ...

Re: Morning Exercise

To tell from design-theory "running from right to left" will never be so fast as "from left to right" (for our culture). I've read also that "right to left" has contra-productive effects and is anarchistic, is against all odds - all meant in a design meaning (?!).
