Re: CutBrush Incremental Rotation
A notice to our TVPaint Programmers... Further tests reveal that a "new brush" is created when the ANGLE value is updated for the current brush through a tv_BrushRestore command, just as assigning a new RGB value for the same brush will create a "new brush". And anytime a "n...

YIPES! WARNING
Unfortunately, somehow some of the incremental rotations of the cut brush are seen by TVPaint as a NEW BRUSH!!!   Of course this means that another version of the brush gets added to the brush history - not good... Would the developers have any suggestion as to how this can ...

CutBrush Incremental Rotation
CutBrush Rotation.png Here's a pair of buttons which will let you incrementally rotate your cutbrush left and right. Assign the buttons to shortcut keys. The increment by which the cutbrush is rotated can/should be set by holding down the SHIFT key when you press one of the two buttons (the chosen ...

Re: Select multiple layers with Cmd click
Take a look at the example of lukas: it's impossible to export the keyboard shortcuts from os x to windows, because the cmd button is not the same as the windows ctrl button. It could really be helpful in a studio where people working on linux, windows and os x systems to be able to export your key...

Re: adobe smart brushes
Another demo: an Adobe investigation of some prototype tools (a pen and a short "straight" edge ruler) and the software that works interactively with those tools.

George command to manage selected area (marching ants)
I'm trying to find if there is a George command in TVPaint 10 which lets me (1) detect whether there is an active, selected area of the screen (marching ants) and (2) another George command that lets me control if that selected area (marching ants) can be turned off and turned back on ? There is a c...

Re: Suggestion....
look on page 2-29 of the TVP10 manual where the History Panel is discussed "briefly". This history of your current drawing session would seem to have the potential to offer exactly what you are talking about, stored strokes, all of them! In fact, I've used it a number of times to go back i...

Re: Shortcut for changing Smooth level > None, Medium, Best
After you open the shortcut key list, select your first action and press assign, then select your second action and press Control while you click assign . And you can concatenate a third to the same key - select another action and press Control while you click assign. Do you ever scale the cutbrush?...

Re: Shortcut for changing Smooth level > None, Medium, Best
Assume that you are using one or two hotkeys for cutting a brush and another hotkey for rotating an existing brush. When cutting a brush you want the brush smoothing set to zero. When rotating an existing brush you want the brush smoothing set to best. Make two buttons in a panel named Hidden and cr...

Re: Revolution in coloring lineart: LazyBrush plugin release
Congratulations Daniel. Admirable plugin most TVP users will have to have - well thought out. I was reviewing some of your YouTube videos which demo the different "smart" fill operations. I happened to see the textoons demo again, from last year's paper, and was wondering if LazyBrush woul...

Re: Increase / decrease brush size
Yes, you should have a hotkey to [z]. specifically, the shortcut = Brush:Resize Apologies Elodie, Sorry, My Bad! I posted in haste without looking carefully in my shortcut list - I've changed key assignments so many times that I can't tell what's default anymore... I've always just carried forward ...
