I'm investigating !

I guess they use a non-standard but often used by digital camera tag for rotation in the image data.

I'll keep you informed.

Un peu, mais c'etait encore trop bugge pour se faire une idee precise...

La prochaine beta devrait etre la bonne vu que la sortie n'est plus tres loin.

Sorry, it doesn't work, BUT...

After talking with Herve, we found that this was a choice of the beta testers !
They didn't want the progress profile to afffect the image sources ...

You may even remember that discussion when the progress profile was first implemented :)

Hi ZigOtto, doesn't the "Progress Profile" of the keyframer do the retiming thinghy ? In the timeline be sure you see all the frames you want to retime. Open the profile editor by clicking on the profile preview, stretch the window of the editor so its width matches the length of the frame...

Just go for it ! Obviously my answer is biased, as I'm the Mac Developper of TVPaint :) But, TVPaint works great on MacIntel, every MacIntel user will tell you. The Intuos works really well in MacOSX. Any other software ported to Mac works just better than on PCs :) (I don't know Lightroom ?) Epson ...

I guess I haven't more to say :) Just that the Core2Quad seems to become cheap enough to beat the Core2Duo in the perf/price ratio. I don't know the "Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 3000", but TVPaint works very well with the integrated "Intel MGA950" on the MacBook Pro. Want I...

d)- 1x Intel® Quad Core Xeon® E5320 (1,86 GHz, 1.066 MHz, 2 x 4 MB cache) 750 W Who wants to sell you this old thing ? The SLOWEST Quad Xeon at apple is 2.66Ghz ! I would go for a core2duo, I think it's the best perf/price ratio at this time, unless you get a bargain for Xeons . You WILL anyway hav...

Then again, tapes or DVD, when properly stored, will last 10 (DVD) to 20 (tapes) years without problem, probably much more. On the other hand, film, when improperly stored, will propably not last more than 18 month. So it's not only the medium, but also how you handle and store it ! Big studios stor...

It hasn't to be as bad as described in these articles... See http://www.archive.org/about/about.php#storage for examples of how to do it. Use standard file formats, whose description is publicly available. In the worst case you can hire a programmer to write some piece of software to read your data ...

Yes, it does register it's .tvp extension with windows.

BUT, nvidia uses the extension for some of their files,
and when upgrading your driver, POOF!, TVPaint's file association is gone :(

Sad.

Unfortunately no.

The main reason being we don't know how to handle the intersection of planes if we allow them to rotate freely (we don't wan't to implement a full 3D renderer just for the MPC).

Just rotating the camera is in the todo list...

Did you put a carriage return at the end of the last line ?

The best is to put 2 or 3 empty lines at the end of the file, so when you add something to the script, you don't forget that last carriage return.
