Hm, I'm not sure if this should be fiddled with. Everyone has different expectations to this, and everyone has adapted their habits to the way TVP works right now. Changing these would in worst cases lead to loss of data through overwriting.

Could you post a screenshot of the export panel of this project?

The whole discussion can be closed by just one simple fact: CAPS was not a 64bit application, I bet it was only 16bit. No need to resurrect a relict like that.

There's no single answer because people's preferences are different, and they use different hardware setups: tablet + computer + keyboard, with one to (up to) 4 screens, cintiq + computer + keyboard (that's me), cintiq + monitor + computer + keyboard, tabletcomputer with shuttle, tabletcomputer only.

Wrong export from CSP. Check the settings there.

Having a half-transparent background can cause trouble. But you can easily create an opaque overlay like this: - duplicate transparent layer - create a layer under it - fill it completely with white (or whatever your BG colour is) - activate mask in duplicated BG layer and reverse it - hit delete on...

Looks like an Animbrush to me. Several bitmaps, sorted by size, animation controlled by pressure.

Let's check basics: you say it's only 1 image per shot.
- Is it also 1 frame, or is ist several frames? How many frames has the whole project?
- how many layers?

Shouldn't this throw a descritpive error message in TVP? "This PSD file is in 16bit which TVP can't open. Convert to 8bit and try again."

Any lossy codec will result in frames which may look identical but aren't. You can use TVP's function of recalculating frames with a threshold, instead of the fixed one.

I've never felt comfortable with TVP's camera tool, so I do all my camera work in Moho. Many use other programs, but a lot of artists here use TVP's camera. It just depends on your personal preferences.
