that's a good point, Greg, and I often do the same way (frame by frame), specially when feet's contact spacings aren't regular enough from one drawing to the other... "Trial and error" method isn't so bad although ... ; otherwise, it's mathematical : a full cycle distance (on ground) D = 2...

hmmm... not sure it will solve your problem,
but have you tried the "Tablet : No Subpixel" option in Preference Panel?

maybe my wacom is set (tablet driver) too sensible (soft-touch) ,
I'll try with a harder curve-sensibility to see the difference.

Hi Nicolae, I'm happy you like our software and its new features! Your drawings are very nice. congratulations! yep, it looks very professional, and I think some (all?) of Nicolae' drawings should be worth in the "big" Gallery of tvp site, good enough to be exhibited in the tvp show case.
