Burning Big Fat Cat (wip)

This is something from (my wip) Burning Big Fat Cat It's a project about refugees stranded on European coasts. Breaking in our ordinary lives. ----- From Intro: http://www.khoefs.de/mg_bbfc/006.jpg http://www.khoefs.de/mg_bbfc/012.jpg http://www.khoefs.de/mg_bbfc/007.jpg http://www.khoefs.de/mg_bbfc...

Re: Various stuff made with TVPaint

with something more innovative
I can't get why animators take such long time and hard work to come out with such meaningless.
Innovation is hard to do for young students. In most cases it comes from a longer process.

But I would like to make a plea for sth. much more personal (story) at least.

Re: My first eBook self published

Mhm.
Maybe that takes a little time.
But I think it should work, if you delete it from your device and then download it again.

Re: My first eBook self published

So I updated the ebook and it's already online. Now it has pics of 40 drawings (almost all full-page-sized) and 48 pages. I added series of "Exxon"(printed linocuts), "Pilgrims" (drawings) and "Pilots (excerpts from sketchbook)". The zoom-option is not available for kin...

Re: My first eBook self published

You are right, no zoom-function is not acceptable. I couldn't imagine, that this is disabled. With the producer's simulators it isn't.
Of course I will go into it. Maybe, easy workaround would be to come with full-page-pics.

Re: My first eBook self published

Paul, which Kindle Fire do you have ? Kindle Fire, Kindle Fire HD, Kindle Fire HD 8.9'' ? I am just doing some tests again with the simulator, as far by now I can see 24 pages (including 3 pages of text) on all three types of kindle simulators. With my simulator/previewer I can scale up the pages an...

Re: My first eBook self published

@Paul Thank you so much, Paul. I already started little promotion on Facebook. As far as this is in the field of art, I can promote it also along my future exhibitions, masterclasses and drawing classes at my University. Amazon also offers some help: because it is only available on Amazon it has qua...

Re: My first eBook self published

@Fabrice,
There is a free App, Kindle Reader.
Although I have not tested it, I think it works like The one for iPhone and iPad.

My first eBook self published

(This no TVP-content, sorry if this sounds too much as a self-promotion.) I just put my first e-book at amazon online, which is self published. I am surprised how easy this is, I converted my pics of older drawings to mobi-format, put the preface by Eugen Blume in it and -voila- there it is. Availab...

The computer-generated voice was a temporary choice which will be replaced.
Looking for an older (London-) British voice.

MG/ Previews

"MG TC "
small clip, (but 19 MB !):

The text is inspired by an article of Bruce Watson. Sure enough he doesn't look this way.

Fishes etc. (new work)

Some recent works in the field of art, installation and animation. A dialogue of the old technique of photograms and modern iPad animation and - the second one, called "NorthEastWestSouth" with 4 photographs and 4 looped iPad animations. For both I didn't use TVP (for other less simpler dr...

Re: [WIP] Ruth ebook

So far, the standard for eBooks is Epup3, which is HTML 5 -based = > video and audio files can be embedded. In general for video the format is mp4 - which is not a compression but a container ( the right video codec is H264). For the iOS- devices it is also the m4v-container. Embedded videos are wel...
