Alt + L. Click zooming instead of panning

Post by payroo »

Hi all,

I've been a TVP user for a while now, but after a Wacom driver update (for Cintiq 22HD) I'm getting some weirdness.

I have Alt mapped to the side button on my Wacom pen, but now instead of panning around the canvas when I click and drag, it's smoothly zooming in and out (depending on dragging left or right). Oddly enough, when I hit Alt on the keyboard and click drag, it pans as expected.

Anyone else have this happen? I'd really appreciate a way to fix this, as this is messing a lot with my TVP workflow!

Thanks!

Is the SubPixel option activated in your Preferences?

If the SubPixel is on, and that you assign the Alt on the button where the default right-click is (the lowest button), then it will act as if you pressed Alt and right click at the same time, and zoom.
If you assign the Alt on the upper button, you will be able to pan normally.

Thanks Melanie!
I did have sub-pixel on, and swapping the right-click and Alt assignments on my cintiq pen got it working as expected. You're a lifesaver! :D
