Can't Delete Layer

Hi, Ive just downloaded TV Paint and I can't seem to delete animation layers, for example rough sketch layers. I can hide them but really I want to delete them to stop a messy timeline. Right Clicking on the layer doesn't seem to open any options.
Help please!!

Layer Menu > Delete Layer (or if more than one layer is selected it will appear as
Delete Selected Layers )
OR
Right-click on the selected layer(s) you want to delete (right-click on the Layer stack to the left of the Timeline, not the instances on the Timeline) and from the pop-up menu choose Delete Selected Layer(s) > Confirm .
