Maybe you're using a video codec TVPaint interprets in a weird way. Which codec do you use and have you tried another?
Windows 11 22H2 / TVP 11.7.0 PRO WIBU / Cintiq 22HD
Windows 11 22H2 / TVP 11.7.0 PRO WIBU / Mobile Studio Pro 16" (2019)
Android 13 / TVP 11.7.0 / Galaxy Tab 7 FE

The compression codec can be found in Quicktime Player > Windows > Show Movie Inspector.

For example, this shows that the compression codec is H.264 -

Or on Windows in VLC Player , it is Windows > Media Information > Codec Details

Thanks!
If the FPS file and fps in the project match - this means that distortions are excluded. Yes? :D

Yes, the Project FPS should match the video file FPS , so a video file at 24 FPS should be imported to a TVP Project set at 24 FPS.
