I wonder f it was possible to use a saved spline into the wrapping grid where each point should be a coordinate of the source/destination.

Well, if i got the picture, 'spline' is the name given to the form created by different connected points made with the 'spline-tool'.
If that's right, it should be nice that you can load the spline from the splinebin into the wapping-grid. So that each point of the spline should be represented by a point on the wrapping grid.
