Wacom pen doesn't work

Post by Sierra Rose »

I can't get my Wacom pen to work. Is it because I'm in demo mode?

welcome Sierra, nice to see you again! :)

about being stuck with your pen, it's weird... :o
the trial version (demo mode) is supposed to work with the wacom pen.

have you the latest wacom driver installed on your system ?

and have you tried to check on/off the "subpixel" option in the preference panel ?

btw, what machine, and what OS ?

Thanks Fanany, you too.

You got it! It was the subpixel thingy that I had on that wouldn't let the pen work.

Here I am again having the benefit of your helpfulness. I have missed you.

After I found the pen works, I still can't get the sideswitches to be left mouse and middle mouse. I'll keep trying.

haven't you tried to update to the latest wacom driver (pro605-7_int.exe) ?
also I've read somewhere that the wacom pen settings should be the same for all the apps,
I don't experienced this sort of problem, because the only app I'm using with the wacom pen is TVPA . :)

I actually got it to work when I changed the subpixel command. Then I copied Paul's idea of reassigning the middle mouse button to a keystroke so I could get the rocker switch on the side of the pen to toggle the light table.

I am excited to get my dongle. I spent a whole day yesterday exploring the demo. What a great program!
