updating tvpaint

hi
i'm trying to install the june 29 version of tvpaint. My current version is mai 4.
How can i do this without losing my current set-up and tools?

For Windows - run the installer and Instead of choosing uninstall, or modify - choose Repair from the options at the first screen you see. Then it will over write the main program files and not anything else. Also, Im fairly certain that even if you did uninstall TVP - your profile would still exists in Documents and Settings, under the TVP Animation dir...

thank you very much.
I'm having a little trouble with the transform tool,
sometimes apply works, sometimes apply doesn't work.
If i restart tvpaint, it works. strange things.
The update will no hopefully clear me from that little nuisance.
