.ts files

Post by Alan »

Is it possible to import files in the .ts format? I have the VLC media player installed so the codecs are in the computer. But the file does not show up as one of the acceptable files. Any ideas? I see nothing in the search area.

Have you tried converting from VLC to PNG or AVI or whatever you need it to be? VLC can't convert everything but sometimes it works out.

you may also try SUPER (for Simplified Universal Player Encoder & Renderer),
it's a free media file converter, and .ts files seem to be supported as input video format.

mplayer/mencoder should be able to convert that format also (it's free to download).

Thanks folks,

I've found that the files will open in Vegas Video, so I can convert them from there.

Cheers Alan
