custom panel errors

Post by cresshead »

hi not sure if this is an error or what but i've just made 2 custom panels one for the chinese brushes and one for the pencils that are on the shared cntents pages...both work no problem but they will not work with each other...

if i start a session and use the chinese brushes they work fine...but if i then use some of the pencils the chinese brushes not longer work as they should, i have to quit tv paint and restart tv paint to make them work...but again if it want pencils then swap back the chinese brushes refuse to work as they should..they are sorta dotted and faint...

any ideas?

update..if i select a custom brush on my tool bin..then select the chinese brush it works....

i'm thinking this is my user error somewhere!...need to buy a printer to print out the tv paint manual!...or are you making a printed one available for purchase anytime soon?

Hi Cresshead,

We have fixed the Chinese Brush CP and upload a new one in the topic dedicated to the Chinese Brush. The older was tweaked by hand and doesn't define all the connections causing the data storage issue when you were changing the current brush.
Normally, you should be able to use it and change the current brush as many times as you want without any problem now :D

seems to tool settings do not reset to the chinese brush...this work around is okay...placed a brush next to the chinese brushes as a 'reset brushes' button.

Steve,
Can you try to delete the old CP before loading the new one ?
There might be a problem with the ID the CP (especially if the old CP is not deleted first).
Please let us know.

hi Steve,
try to unzip and to import this ChineseBrushFixed.bin,
I hope it will fix your brush reset problem .

ps: if it works, don't forget to save your config when leaving tvpa.
