Tilt Pencil

Post by CartoonMonkey »

Here's a pencil brush I made that responds to the tilt of your Wacom pen. Tip your pen on it's side to shade with thicker lines, just like a real colored pencil.
I hope someone finds it useful.

Thanks Momo, that's what I was trying to emulate, in fact. I hate having to go to other software, when TVPaint can really do it all.

Using a similar technique, I'm creating a bunch of brushes which will give a nice oil bristle feel, for those times when you want to get a bit wild with your TVPainting. Fun stuff.
Stay tuned...

Great tilt pencil; works just the way I'd expect from a real world soft lead. Thanks so much for this!

Excellent tool, I was looking for something like that. Variations on it could give a nice set of pencils. Thank you!
