Forum Suggestion - add a "correct answer" button

Post by Soom »

It would be nice if the Forum had an option to mark a comment as a "correct answer" or "problem solved" - this way people who have similar problem could quickly find the right solution, instead of browsing through the thread.

Also could be nice to be able to "like" some awnsers or else to stick it in near the first post so we can see them first. Could also be nice so you can see you've been helpfull for some people :)

Oh, that could be useful, especially if you have a thread which is several pages long.

The "problem solved' and "correct answer" are useful. Maybe having a "Solution" would keep the door open to refinement and more ideas for approaching the same problem.

"Like" tends to become something in and of itself reflecting popularity, moods, trends, etc. People "like" for all sorts of reasons.

In this regard "Thank you" is preferable. Generally, you have to offer something constructive to receive a thank you.
