Background - Checkerboard pattern should be uniform size

My feature/improvement request is that when the Background is set to Check (checkerboard) that the checkerboard pattern would be a uniform size , no matter what the project resolution.

The reason I am requesting this is because I've noticed that if the project resolution is low (such as 800 x 600) , the checkerboard pattern is very distinct and easily
seen , but if the resolution of the project is higher (for example 3750 x 3150) the checkerboard pattern becomes almost invisible unless you are zoomed-in closer .

the first screenshot shows the Check background at a low-resolution (800 x 600)

the second screenshot shows the Check background at high-resolution (3750 x 3150)
The checkerboard pattern is barely visible at this high resolution.

We will see how the checkerboard background can be improved according to new and bigger working resolutions. Thank you for your feedback
