Is there a hotkey for Play Flip Book Hotkey. Like how it pulls back there's is tweaking the throttling speed as well? Yet more focus the Play Flip Book Hotkey of this toolbar.Image. <<<<----I really want that 'Play Flip Book' because it scroll with wacom also think if you can tweak the throttling speed by optional////// not that other 'Play Flip Book' isn't flexible. Also stenciling under lighttable by numbers by req 1,2,3 or 1-3 example so tweak with opacity scrubbing before or after erasing opacity tweaking. Why not just add pure erasing tool icon. Also Freehand Rotate and the Freehand Flip Play Book. Also the Option of Wacom on 'Flip Stops the on Page' Option while holding another KeyBind to stop by Keyboard or by Wacom. One is the Regular Flip Book Hotkey. The other Tablet Flip Book Hotkey.

Also other req. Action Toolbar. Something If 'selected # of frames' 'Select '2 frames per second all frame/s of that layer'' so it can be opacity at 50 percent' Push down a layer for 50% or Ad FX it of that every 2 Frames per second Frames of that layer.

There are many ways to flip : [J] / [K] to flip to and from, [W] to flip a certain amount of images rthat you can define in the proxy settings, you can also use right/left arrows...

[W] is the hotkey to Play Flipbook,
you can tweak the amount (back/fore, unit = second) in the Preview Settings window,
and the flipbook speed is related to the speed preview setting,
playback-speed.png
playback-speed.png (2.02 KiB) Viewed 30839 times
you can change it f.i. to half the project speedrate with a little script, buttonize it + assign it to a hotkey,
george cmd to change framerate preview is "TV_FrameRate [Rate] Preview"
where "Rate" is the custom speedrate for your playback.

for "freehand" flipbook (right/left LMB-clic & drag), afaik, there's no command or shortcut,
so +1 for this request. 8)

I use J and K all the time (most used shortcut!), but I also wish for this function. Right now, if you hold down the hand button, you can use your stylus to drag forward and back. It would be nice if you could hold down a keyboard key, and be able to drag the stylus forward and back for flipping. Same functionality as pressing the hand button, but just assignable to a keyboard key.

Hmmm, okay, got you.

That makes sense, especially, when you are doing rough animation or quick inbetweens.

tha's it ! :)
and again +1 for this request.

one of the advantage of flipping manually is the ability to vary both the speed and the amount depending of your (velocity + amplitude) gesture,
slow/fast drag = slow/fast flip, short/long drag = short/long portion flipped, in other words, it plays according your fingers drive . 8)

I got it when I drew a little and then, when I wanted to flip, I realize how annoying it was to move my stylus to the the "hand" icon

Would you mind putting a little more effort when posting something in the forum ? Or better add some images to illustrate ?
It's almost impossible to understand.

Not sure how to be better clarified. Just saying there's need to be 4 new keys or action.
4 Buttons for these actions. It's mostly for 'instances'. But each frame would be nice.
One Rolls back the animation.
The Other doesn't roll back. - So you continue draw at a quicker pace.

How you move from frames to frames / instance to instance. You don't have to tap the key repeatedly. All you have to hold the key and scroll with stylus tablet. 'Like the' Flip Book Key' you key and stylus to control the rate of the flip and throttle of the rate. Like a real animator.

Think this is best I can show. The Red is the Suggestion. You scroll the instance by stlyus when you hold the key.
Same asImage It has the same 'Action' as the The 'Hand Icon'

Image

But how you can 'Flip Book' it can be better, 'flip'book'' 'flipbook'move'.

'Control by Stylus' should have throttling speed control should be an option available.

Is it easier to understand now?
The Workflow in drawing seems faster and more fluid.
