In addition to grabbing both APen and BPen colors together and automatically creating the "A color dot/B color background" button, could the user create a button that would grab just the APen color or the BPen and make a solid button displaying only that color?
If the user also wanted to be able to NAME the color in the process, why not offer an extended Tool Grabber option that immediately lets him/her insert a name for the new color button?
In fact, is it possible to include an automated naming option for all the Tool Grabbers???

I meant only at the time of creating a NEW tool button, whatever its configuration, by an additional option with + name attached to it as suggested for the APen, BPen button creations. So the list of Tool Grabber options might become:
Tool Only
Tool + A Color
Tool + B Color
Tool + A&B Colors
A Color Only
B Color Only
A&B Colors
------------
Tool Only + Name
Tool + A Color + Name
Tool + B Color + Name
Tool + A&B Colors + Name
A Color Only + Name
B Color Only + Name
A&B Colors + Name
OR
as you suggest, make the functionality of the Tool Grabber subject to a check box so that all NEW button creation ALWAYS automatically offers a naming option, or never ask as currently happens.
Thumbs up for Svengali's idea. Currently this would be a 2 click operation - right click for menu, then click to select option.
If there would be a way to cut this down to one mouse click some time in the future that would be even better. More intuitive, faster and RSI friendly. Maybe a dedicated panel just for this purpose?
It would also be nice to be able to re- arrange the order of existing color patches/ tool buttons, like re-ordering layers.
