LMB Alpha Color Picker

I'm referring to this thread which I found after a search: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=2519" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
What I was looking for is an option/button that would behave like the color picker in TVP (pick color with the RMB) but with the LMB it would pick the color alpha. So the true color without alpha.
The way the standard button behaves now is that it picks the B color with the LMB, which can be useful I imagine, but would it be possible to add an option where the LMB picks the color without alpha?
Or might there already be an option like that hidden away in TVP11 that I have overlooked?
