I don't know if it is already shared here but here is The Story of An Idea, by Nexus Studios for Google. TVPaint was used for all the 2D parts, at the beginning and the end.

Here is a short making of, where we can briefly see TVPaint interface :

I don't know how to post an embedded video player from Facebook , so here is the link:

https://www.facebook.com/travis.blaise. ... 028433727/

This is by Travis Blaise (brother of Aaron Blaise) . On his Facebook page Travis wrote:
"My latest in an ongoing series of traditional animation projects. This animated clip is based on a story concept of mine centered around dreaming. This animated loop is 200 frames, animated all on ones. It completely digitally hand drawn in TVPaint Pro 11. I will point out this was primarily straight ahead animation and without any changes. So the what you see is my first rough pass of animation. I liked the result, so I decided to go ahead and start coloring it throughout. There is still a lot of coloring and filling in to be done, but thought what the heck, it's good enough to show my progress. Hope you enjoy this whimsical animated loop. Cheers!"

Hello guys,

Here is my other late night animation practice. I spent few hours animated in TVPaint and painted background in Photoshop; my approach is more anime and I romanticized the setting.
The title for this one : The Girl who see the Kite.
I want her to be the only person that is able to see the swimming kite. It is a lot like we are the only people are able to see our own dreams right a the very very beginning when it is still nothing. Hope you all enjoy it, thanks!

By the way the articles about making animations in TVPaint are wonderful! Reading them every lunch time!

Here is my latest lunch time practice. I just self doubt that if following your heart is a right decision so here come this little illustration.

Alexander Savchenko has put together an informative behind the scenes look into the creation of his impressive fourth assignment at Sasha Dorogov’s animation school :
