CB Paint 2 LINUX BOGART SE version?

Post by Paris Fox » 26 Apr 2008, 17:05

Hi TV Paint Team,

Do you think CB Paint 2 for the new Casablanca S-4000 Series editors will be out by this year or sooner? CB Paint is the number one software for the Casablanca I depend on to produce all of my animations and effects.

Do you think the De-Interlace feature will be out soon when this Linux version becomes available?

Thank you in advance. CB Paint 2 is a dream come true, and now in High Definition, a double bonus!!

Hello Paris,

I know you are a fan of CBP2, but it will be necessary to be patient :).
And I think that the De-interlace feature shouldn't be a problem to be added.

Bye.

Hi CBPaint 2Team,
I use S-4000 Pro (PAL)with Bogart SE system software and I'm also waiting for the release of CBPaint 2.
Here is an improvement I would like being implemented in new version:
When for some reason CBPaint 2 has to be deleted from Casablanca system all own created
custom brushes get lost. (Also the bin in "Particle Generator")
Please implement a function to save these bins on external harddrive for restoring back to CBPaint 2.
Formats 4:3, 16:9, HDV.
Many thanks in advance for your reply

Hi Hans,

As explained in an other post, it's too early for us to know what will be done on the new Casablanca system and when exactly. (there will be too much work with TVP Animation in the next coming weeks)
But if it's possible and easy to make such improvements in the future, why not ! :)
