Revolution in coloring lineart: LazyBrush plugin V1.1 !

Post by lazybrush »

LazyBrush is a new TVPaint plugin which enables significant speed-up when coloring line art. In contrast to standard FloodFill tools LazyBrush is resistant to small gaps, respects anti-aliasing, and fills multiple regions at on snap. It is based on a popular interaction metaphor where rough user-specified strokes (called scribbles) are used to delineate desired coloring and the rest is filled automatically. Using LazyBrush even very rough line art can be quickly and precisely colored without necessity to produce cleanups.

ok, I put this great plug-in as a global announce during a few days, so it will be visible in all forums sections.
It will later be located in the "Third-Party-Plug-in" section (probably after Annecy).

Enjoy :)

I'm half waiting for an Android request. ;)

Well, "Mac + Windows" is already a good start for a plug-in, since most of them use to be for windows only. :)

At the moment, LazyBrush is available for both Windows and Mac OS X, but we are ready to port it on Android or Linux when there is sufficient demand from the TVPaint community.

Where is the trial serial number? I can't get it to actually do anything beyond scribble. When I press paint, it asks for a serial..

Right now, LazyBrush trial only works with the DEMO version of TVPaint. Therefore, if you want to try LazyBrush, you have to download TVPaint DEMO from here and open LazyBrush in the demo version. We are currently working on a new version of LazyBrush trial which will also work with regular TVPaint. This new version will be released in few days.
