Reading the "blending" mode for a layer

Post by Svengali »

tv_LayerMerge id mode ["STAMP"] ["ERASE"]

Merges layer with identifier id (source) and the current layer (destination). The two layers are merged into the current layer. The two layers are merged with the mode (name or line number) define in mode arguments. STAMP argument enable the stamp mode. ERASE argument will erase the layer source.
in the above George command, the mode parameter refers to the "blending" mode of the id layer.

Is there another George command for READING the "blending" mode for an id layer?

Thank you Fabrice. Sounds like 9.5 will be greatly enhanced. Anxious to see.

(On or about the same week a major update for ZBrush - ver3 to ver3.5 - is also scheduled. It's back to school in September for users of both softwares.) :D
