what's your favorite tool (preferably freeware)

to convert .VOB files into .AVI, .MOV or DivX files ?

I use Ripp it After Me (RiAM). It's a good application with a lot of codecs but you have to pay som euros to download it. Take care of codecs problems. You can create divX, xvide, ogm video file and rv9, mkv container file.

it looks even more powerful than I need.
