Audio problem

Post by David_Fine »

I have three .wav files in a project and I need to turn two of them off, but doing so does not mute them. Even after deleting the .wav files from the project, they still play. When I delete all the .wav files, the waveform is still displayed and they all still play. What is going on?

You have two possibilities where to put the soundfiles. They can be project-sounds or clip-sounds. You could check if your sounds are accidentaly imported to both situations. If yes, you have to delete them in the clip(s) AND in the project.

Ha, you solved it. For some unknown reason the audio was in the project as well. I only ever load audio in the timeline so I don't know how this happened. Didn't even know it could. So I went to the project and deleted the master audio there and that did it. Thank you!!
