Paul, It's a spam for a Chinese company. I remove the link of his web site.

In that case it is the most benign spam I've seen so far. It says nothing with an unobtrusive drawing depicting not much in particular. :)

a good "drawing in perspective" lesson, indeed.
and the painter who have drawn all the parallel lines of the roofs must be skilful !
I wonder how long did this kind of paint take to be acheived ? counted in days ? ... weeks ? ... months ?

ps : hey, spammer, can you please post again the picture in a better resolution ? :)

Funny; those parallel lines caught my attention immediately as well. That's why I don't think the drawing was too ancient.

A quick search turned up examples of chinese paintings with straight parallel lines in architecture as early as 11th century. Don't know if you'd call that "ancient" ... I do.

They must have used French curves then... and invented them too.

I don't know why I can't use my account,and I need to reregister one.
I need to tell you all,my post in this forum is not a spam.Has the anti-spam system been broken?
This painting is not created by me,It was painted in Qing dynasty.I can only do the imitation, but I just post this painting for your appreciaton, cause I think art is no boundary. If you love art,you should have the interesting to Chinese paintings, but not call me a spamer.
This painting was created by using Chinese special brush.and no French curves so-like.
I hope can still use my account next time, and also I want to show more paintings to you and have a good communication.

If we though you were a spammer or a bot it's because our forum is firstly a forum about our software, its users and 2D animation in general.

Your paintings are very interesting, but in fact, they haven't their place into this forum. We love art, but, it's not really a forum about art. It's like... you've posted a topic about nem and spring rolls into a forum which is only talking about pizzas...

Nevertheless, I keep your topic (I just move it into another part of the forum) because these paintings are great and also because I don't want a diplomatic incident between France and China
