But did you look at the article about how this will affect film distribution? I never heard of this before...theaters downloading films.

Yep, it will make leasing much simpler for distributors. But could open new avenues for piracy as well.

I know here in the DC area there are several digital cinemas. Don't know if they download their movies directly od if the digital media is delivered to them on secured hard drive (I've heard both). Many theaters are also doing the live digital broadcasts from the Metropolitan Opera.
