The Multiply and Screen drawing modes

The Multiply mode multiplies the individual values of the R,G,B channels of the source image pixels with the sum of the R,G,B values of the A color pixels. The Screen mode inverses the values previously used.
Here again, the A color is purple: R=128, G=0, B=128.

These last four modes: Add, Sub, Multiply and Screen are more useful when they are used with brushes or with certain effects.
We will come back to them in further lessons.
