Re: Sharpen?

i now always use Michaels (Sewi) Histogram method for sharpening.

But it is rather hidden and also not available in the standard version.

Re: Connect points like PS using 'Shift'

Yes! thanks Hironori! it was there after all. I just didn't not remember that key combination.

It might be a good idea to also have it in the pull down as an option.... if only for reasons of alerting the unaware new users to its presence.
(or helping forgetfull veteran users finding it back! :? )

Re: Keyframer should "see" Layers in Multiply blend mode from another Project

This is a very old issue, TVPaint is not treating blendmodes in a WhatYouSeeIsWhatYouGet way.
everything is fine in the project but as soon as you export out of tvpaint or import it into another tvpproject tvpaint doen't deliver.

HUD and UI should not be subjected to Guide snap

I noticed that when i tried to manually rotate a custombrush to place on a guide grid, i could not rotate freely because the handle of the Rotate brush - User Interface (Shortcut C) is snapped by the grid. My request is that the rotation handle can be set to be imune for guides and grids. i realize ...

Re: How to transfer TVPaint with all settings to a new system?

Soom, can you tell me how to open library on a mac? it could be this is disabled at school (because of monkeyproofing) but there is no acces to a library folder on these machines. Well it just emphasizes the need for an easier way of swapping configs #edit turns out you need to press "Alt" to see li...

Re: unwanted transparency

color automation tip. a quick filling of a lineanimation can also be achieved by following these steps: -color the whole frame white on a separate layer below your linedrawings -stretch out that layer under your all the animation frames -with the paint bucket tool set to erase and its source set to...

Re: How to do a gradual colour change?

All colour-changing FX are key-able - make sure to create a key at the beginning. Sometimes I'm lazy and do it like this: create a coloured rectangle, change the colour in the next frame, then stretch this 2-frame-clip to the desired length of transition and click interpolate . haha! yes this actua...

Nice to see that even a simple problem like this can be looked at from so many different angles! :)
You'll find this typical for tvpaint. There are usually many ways that lead to Rome.

Re: Brush profile cannot be selected

the only suggestion i can come up with is that the profile panel could be opening up underneath some other panel or somewhere else you can't see it. maybe you shifted it all the way to the side once and now when you open it its only a few pixels along the edge of the screen... this sometimes happens...

+1 3 year old request. Http://www.tvpaint.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=10159&p=115753&hilit=library#p95000 Related to that I'd really like to be able to add directly the current custom brush as an image guide instead of having to add it in the library and then as an image guide I'd also like to ha...

Re: Add Jitter Function to Pencil Tool

if you want to have more control of your line quality i'd go for a custombrush. this tool offers many more controls for you to get just the line roughness you like. Added benefit is that you can make the brush dynamic, in the sense that you can use an animation of an increasingly rougher shape as yo...

but because of the limitations of scripting not yet working optimal.
