It's not on private anymore. You should be able to view it.

Go Go Wabbit Wainger

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpjwzc5Ib3Q Youtube is butchering my video right now by dropping almost half of all the frames. It's really painful for me to watch. I do not recommend that people post their videos there before they post it to other forums. Does anyone have any recommended forums to ...

Export to quicktime produces only black

Help! For some reason my settings have changed or something. Whenever I export to quicktime all I get when I open the quicktime movie is black and no video. Does anyone know what happened? The quicktime movie says there are no bytes. I have checked in under browser: Quicktime Config: Animation. RGB ...

Re: Where are the video tutorials for Mirage?

Thanks for the info. However, I was also awaiting a supposed, how to make a background that you can pan with Mirage tutorial. Not there. Not sure how much TVPaint tutorials would work with Mirage, however. Attempts to help me through postings, only caused more questions. Unfortunately.

Where are the video tutorials for Mirage?

I was told that it was a "matter of days", when these tutorials would be posted. That was a couple of months ago. Where are they?

Re: How do I create backgrounds with Mirage

Well, I tried but failed to find what I was looking for. Under windows I found the FX Stack. I opened it and found at the top, an "Add FX" option, "Options" option, and "FXBin". So I opened "Add FX" and I see, Blur, color, distortion, keying, motion...." So I open up the Keying option and I read, ad...

Sounds like a great idea.

Can't wait.

Re: Tips for coloring animation

Hi I´m coloring traditional 2D animation, so is there any good tips for that? For TVP there was nice tutorial for colorize character. Is there same kind of features for Mirage? Or is the best way just copy inked outline layer and then color that one? I use the fill option and the "behind" feature. ...

How do I create backgrounds with Mirage

I know this is basic, but I tried reading the manual, but to no avail. The type of background I want to create has to extend beyond the frame, so I can scroll it in or out. The backgrounds I have created so far, with Mirage, can't be scrolled without it permenently vanishing when scrolled out of the...

Re: 3+ days part time to make this one

Just another comment, if it weren't for mirage I would never had made any such video. I tried the old fashioned way and had realized that this wasn't it. I mean, slow paint trying times. Drawing on paper, transfering to acetate (using permanent markers), etc. I put in a lot of work and looked at the...

Re: 3+ days part time to make this one

You put the priorities of your efforts in the wrong order. If you are serious about becoming an animator, you have to have endurance. It's a marathon occupation that lasts for as long as you can manage to live. I avoided technically difficult scenes as much as possible and wanted to see if I could ...

Re: 3+ days part time to make this one

Can you please explain a little more: - where do you come from, something about your animation experience, what are your intentions with this piece, how do you work ? is it a result of a 3days-competition ? This would make it a little bit easier to discuss your short (IMO). My first animated short,...
