Re: "memory"

I absolutely loved ジャイアント・ロボ 地球が静止する日. I'm not holding my breath on Hollywood's adaptation or it's loyalty to the music. Though, I imagine the CG work will be amazing, that said, I'm not crazy about the character designs at all...

Re: Funny Function Discovered :-)

I just discovered this! Wow. This will be very useful when I want to quickly map out a motion template for an insect, flying machine, fire, fluid, etc. Very nice indeed!

Re: Pg Up/Down "Next Key" shortcut not working

Naw. With the Num Lock on, I have the zoom functions. With it off, only home and end work (NUM Keys 7 & 1, respectively), pg up/down (NUM Keys 9 & 6, respectively) do not. Even the designated pg up/down keys do not work.

Pg Up/Down "Next Key" shortcut not working

I seem to be having a problem with my page up/down keys jumping to the next/previous key in the layer. I've tried switching it from the defaults and back and nothing works. Is anyone having this problem? Thanks.

Re: Standardized key commands

Idragosani,

Yes, it has all been cleared up to my chagrin. :)

The ALT key still needs to be available for shortcuts, though. Along with Ctrl+Shift, and modifier keys+number key combinations.

Re: Standardized key commands

Paul, Well, your wife is great then. I wish I had that kind of color sense. I've noticed a few times, while looking at the staff of a bunch of different animation houses, that women are the predominant color checkers. Us guys have dog eyes most of the time. When will that film be released (whe...

Re: Standardized key commands

I never heard of Ctrl+W for open project... Paul, Me either. Ctrl+W is usually "Close project". Go ahead, try it on any application that you're running. :) As far as keeping it simple. I'd rather that common commands be what they are usually. I'd like that "C" key to be something that I can assign ...

Standardized key commands

I know this has been talked about, but I just wanted to add my two cents. :P 1. TVPaint seriously needs to get with using standard commands for things like copy (Ctrl+C), paste (Ctrl+V), save (Ctrl+S), close project (Ctrl+W), and open project (Ctrl+O). For instance, if I'm drawing with my stylus and...

So true.

Everyone,
Thanks for all the help. I have made some great discoveries with this though. The animation brush and the crop tool are great!

Re: Quicktime import question

I can't seem to attach the files. I keep getting an "invalid file type" error whenever I attempt to.

The quicktime can be found here:

Re: Quicktime import question

I'm starting to think this is maybe a real problem. Here is a pic of the import/load window when I try to bring in the quicktime file. http://img73.imageshack.us/img73/4392/tvpimportqtwindowsk5.jpg I can't change the aspect ratio at all in the import window. But, when I have an actual project open, ...

Re: Quicktime import question

Idragosani,

Thanks for the tip! Yes, I have done that but with 600+ frames it is rather tedious to go and reset every single frame maually that way. It gave me some great ideas though!

There has to be a way to make sure that the image import places the quicktime center stage, right?
