Re: A slightly different blue

Wow! Thanks ZigOtto - that's brilliant! Works perfectly. This all started after I tried the NKS3 Natural Media plugin for a certain other program - I liked working with the the blue sketching pencil from that so much that I tried to create one just like it in TVP. Now I have all the tools to go with...

Re: A slightly different blue

Just black mainly - although sometimes it would be useful to maintain orange too.

A slightly different blue

I've read THIS post (and thread) and I understand why the selective erase buttons are limited to the colours they are. However, I wondered if it would be possible for me to create a custom 'Erase Blue' button that would erase only the pixels from my custom blue pencil, which is R82 G169 B202. I've c...

Re: Grid Panel defaults

Yep - I would prefer Snap Off to be the default too, I don't think I've ever used the snap function on the grid or the guides. :)

Re: Background Image

Well, yes - or brushes with different levels of hardness - or brushes with no paper at all. The paper I use as a background image is not the paper I use for my brushes - I want the background paper to remain consistent, and not be linked to the brush paper.

Re: Background Image

Hmm - the FX Stack idea is interesting - I'll have to check that out, thanks. :) Slowtiger - the reason I wanted to have my paper image as a background rather than a layer was because I often use the toggle all/current layer visibility key when I'm drawing (it's mapped to a tablet button, that's how...

Background Image

I wonder if having the option to add an image as a background (in addition the the None/Check/Colour options) would be possible. Sometimes I like to use a paper texture as a background and it would be nice to have this texture completely independent of layer view or paper view settings - ie: no matt...

Re: animated paper

Yes - great tips, and scripts!

I've used Herve's script combined with ZigOtto's tip about using a separate room. So now, I have a key map where the previous/next instance/bookmark keys also trigger the random paper offset script.

Sorted.

That's a coincidence - I was wondering exactly the same thing just the other day.

Re: stopmotion with mac?

Yep - I use a MiniDV camera with firewire for stop motion, and I've tried it with TVP and it works perfectly, although TVP is not (and is not intended to be) a fully fledged stopmotion application (I use AnimatorHD). The camera is a Sony TRV19E, which cost less than £50 on eBay. It has full manual c...

Re: stopmotion with mac?

how do the stop motionists check their material during shooting? - They can't just shoot and go home to check what they've done? Hehe - well in the days before computer framegrabbers, that's exactly what they did - using surface gauges to position their puppets. I'm afraid I can't help with Mac sof...

Wow - so I can group layers! Another feature I hadn't spotted. Excellent. :D :D :D
