Re: Why the **** isn't there a selection tool?
All those selections are just variations of the same type of thing. I tried using them and i couldn't do anything.. just could crop and make a brush. I couldn't even delete anything INSIDE the selection. But my point is i want to be able to select particular drawings that i make. So lets say i draw...

Re: Why the **** isn't there a selection tool?
Hold the mouse down on the Selection tool button to see the various kinds of selection tools there are, there will be a popup, you can choose from rectangle, polygon, freehand, magicwand, etc. What other kind of selection tools are you expecting to be there?

Re: 64 Bit SDK
I will also throw in my 2 bits for making a Linux-compatible SDK available (the API seems to be Windows specific).

Yes, I have accidentally hit this and it's a bit annoying. No complaints here if you remove it!

My config was preserved, I didn't have to do anything, but better to be safe than sorry.

I went through the same exercise... grab the newest version from the website using your new codes, uninstall the old version and then install the new version.

Re: How to do without Quicktime ?
Most people I know use more than one type of OS. There are also vitual OS's. I dont know exactly how it works but it seems that you just switch between OS's without any problem. Switching between OSes is an option, of course, but not convenient by any means. Anyway, it turns out I still have a Quic...

Re: How to do without Quicktime ?
Actually the only option I have is to run QuickTime under Wine.Henk Beumers wrote:Hi all.
Even if you use Linux it is not a problem to use QT on a Windows or Mac OS on the same system.

Re: How to do without Quicktime ?
But sincerely, the [E] key works pretty well (but only go forward, not backward). If you set your backward jump to one second, you move back and then just use E to go forward again over the one second. It's awkward but better than nothing. That is very awkward. I will continue using Quicktime Pro 7...

Re: How to do without Quicktime ?
I don't think it would be a conflict of interest, but a lack of time. They are already too busy with our own software, they can't care of another one :D I know, I'm just joking around. :D But sincerely, the [E] key works pretty well (but only go forward, not backward). Re: Update 10.5.0 issues
But the best thing to do is.... Pick a good opensource player with reactive developers (VLC comes to mind), and ask them to add the frame by frame playback, explaining them WHY you need it. Would it be a conflict of interest to have a TVPaint developer contribute code to VLC to enable *backwards* f...

Re: Update 10.5.0 issues
- On Mac the mousewheel sets the volume (i think this can be changed) - The smallest increment is indeed 3 sec, and not adjustable anywhere. Actually, it can be modified via the vlcrc file, which is a text file which contains all possible configuration values (on Linux, it's under $HOME/.config/vlc...

You can also "scrub" with the mousewheel (although I think it does in 3 second increments). Maybe this is adjustable.
